How do I deactivate remote door lock on my 03 Tacoma?

I lost a remote and a key to my 03 Toyota Tacoma and worry that whoever found them would use panic button on the remote to identify get entry to the truck. Is there anyway I can deactivate the remote myself or do I have to ask Toyota to do it?

Help regarding warranty for new build flats?

I bought a new build flat 3 years ago from David Wilson Homes and since then i have had numerous problems with my front door lock. Basicallu every so often the front door lock sticks and refuses to open from the outside. When the problems initially started i contacted david wilson homes and they replaced the lock telling me that the lock was probobly faulty and their own locksmith said that the lock fitted was not of good quality.

Since that i point i have had further problems, resulting in me having to call out a locksmit from the yellow pages twice. I had a new (and rather expensive) lock fitted but about two months after the lock was fitted it got stuck again (the key just will not turn the lock). This time the locksmith said that there was no problem with the lock but was a problem with the casing. To demonstrate he blew some wood chips out of the lock holding device. He said that these causing the lock to become stuck. I contacted david wilson again but was told that i was three months out of warranty. They said that they will not do anything about it. However they had no answer for as to why the problem was not picked up earlier and have told me to write to their construction manager instead. I don’t think that this will be particularly helpful. Is there anything i can do to get the problem fixed under the warranty.

I realise it’s a bit of a longshot but any help would be greatly appreciated.

How can I convince my parents to let me get a lock on my door?

What I don’t get is that they say they trust I don’t to drugs, and they KNOW im the type not to have sex, so im pretty sure it isn’t because of that. I just **** it because they never knock, even when I put signs up-they just ignore them over time. I would just like some privacy because Ive had some pretty close calls whilst changing or doing something I don’t really want people to watch me do. Also, sometimes I just want to be alone. Strange part is, only my 12 year old sister knocks, and Ive asked my parents if they could kindly knock and listen to the “invisible door lock” (which meant to leave a note and come back later) I used to have up sometimes. I’ve only straight-up asked my dad and he said NO, so im going for my mom.
o I forgot to add that I’m 15 1/2
yeah I used to share a room until I was 11 and I hated it

My driver side door lock cannot be unlocked from the outside. The door still works. Hw do I fix the lock? Thnx

The door can be opened from outside if I unlock it from the inside. So, I now have to open the passenger side door and unlock the driver side door from the inside. Is it a minor problem?

How can I open my cabinet without a key?

I can’t find the key and I locked my ipod charger in it. How can I get it open, It’s not like a normal door lock, but a cabinet lock. How can I open it! PLEASE DON’T THINK I’M TRYING TO DO SOMETHING BAD BECAUSE I CAN’T FIND MY KEY!!! Thanks :)

Where can I get a bathroom door lock with indicator?

We have a problem at my church with the bathroom door lock, because it doesn’t work and we want to replace it. I was thinking that it would be great if we could get one of those door locks that has a green and red sign that changes whenever you lock or unlock the door, but I don’t know where to buy it, or how much it would cost. Could you, guys, help me with this? I’m counting on your great wisdom and knowledge, hehe (n_o)

The lock I’m looking for doesn’t have to be something sofisticated and electronic. I’ve seen some door locks that have a red and green sign that rotates with the lock, so everytime you move the lock, the sign turns along with the lock. (Man! I hope I’m not confusing anybody with my bad English, hehe)

Door lock for bedroom?/ HELP?

OK, so i just got A NEW room and it doesnt have a lock on the bedroom door, well it does have a lock to not le the outside knob turn, but i can turn it hard enough to let me in, so can my dad, but i want me privicy, and my dad can get in that way, my room before i used a bat and put it in front of my bed post then in front of my door, so you can open it unless you bench 700 pounds lol
but i need a way to lock it and not let you open it, i was think one of those chains, but i want it so you cant even look in, PLEASE HELP need ideas!!!!!!!
