Do you think the police made the right decision? 2nd post?

This is loosely based on a real life situation that I had about 1 year ago. One night I had too many drinks and decided not to drive my car, so I left it in the parking lot at the bar. The next day I went back to get my car. It had been broken into, somebody broke my window and took some things. The police came and took prints. They found some that belonged to a stranger. They called and talked to him and he denied breaking into the car. He was never arrested or anything. Do you feel that the prints were enough to arrest him? Personally, I am on the fence with this. Since my car was in a public parking lot over night there is no telling who could have done this. People often think the actual actor in crimes like this are people you know. I really do not know if the police made the right decision or not. I would **** for the wrong person to get arrested and charged if they really did not do it. So my question is do you think that the prints in this case were enough to at least arrest this guy, or not. I am sure there are a million prints in my car from a lot of people that I know, with him being a stranger it makes me suspicious, but not quite enough to say he must of done it. So I am, looking for other opinions.

All the prints were found inside the car and some on the outside. I am not exactly sure where. The police say that it is hard to get a good print from inside the car. All I really know is that some were found inside, and one on the door handle.

Only thing that I was missing were a few CD’s. Even if the prints were found inside the glove compartment or dashboard how would it be enough still?

I guess I am asking how the placement of the prints would make that much of a difference in this case. It does not prove that he stole them. It proves he was inside at one point. Hell all I know he could have secured my car, after the break in, or he could have been the tune up guy. I really do not know. I know in the past I have done simialar to a car, I have closed doors that were left open, I have even locked cars up for people that were left open in a parking lot. So I can see how certain other things are conceivable, that a stranger might have done innocently.

How can I stop static shocks in the office?

I need something mobile (so no static bands that plug in to something) and it needs to be discreet so no contraptions. If you get this problem too have you managed to avoid it? I live in fear of every door handle and metal cupboard.

I also get it on supermarket trolleys and car doors.

Please don’t say I need to change my shoes, it doesn’t work.

What do you think of this poem about a depressed grandmother?

Blind Murder

It’s your grandmother here, sitting on the rocking chair, right by the fireplace, clicking my needles, so lost and depressed. With age I’ve grown lonely, with age I’ve grown weak, as years continue melting I sink further and further into myself.

I try to smile politely as you crouch by my side, pretending to notice, but truly, I’m lost, too lost to notice your pretty blue eyes, too lost to notice your sweet smile and compassionate heart.

I haven’t moved from this chair, this chair is my home, where my soul rests, and my mind wanders without boundaries.

I’ve thought of wonderful things in this chair, ideas and plans you will never expect; never believe until it’s too late.

It seems like years, years since I last moved from this chair, but I am ready, I know the time has finally drawn in.

I slowly get up, a flash of pain strikes through by body, tired muscles that have rested for so long, now alive, ready to fulfill their duty.

Quietly I ascend the wooden staircase, careful not to fall in the dark, so careful as not to disturb my great plans. I know which room is yours; I know where you sleep and where your last breath will be made.

I carefully turn the door handle, entering your room with the quietist of steps, as not to wake you, my dear child.

For one last time, I stare at your delicate golden locks and pale skin, for one last time I look at a life that will be no more.

I raise the knife, slowly, knowing my motive is near completion. Then, savagely, brutally, with no regret I thrust it down, down into your living heart, a once loving heart that now runs cold.

I slip back into my rocking chair, clicking away with my needles, just as lost and depressed as ever. My chair becomes my home once more; after all, nobody expects a thing, not from an elderly woman like me.
Yes, i wrote it
Nope, i’ve never seen those movies

The automatic door lock to the driver’s side of my ‘01 Toyota Camry broke when I tried to open it with my key?

I heard the lock fall down and tumble to the bottom of the door panel. The only way to open the door is through the inside door handle. Any answers?

Are there Advanced Key kits for sale in order to retrofit them into a car?

Not a remote starter or a keyless entry. Are there kits for sale that are advanced key systems??
An Advanced key or keyless entry is the electronic access and authorization system which is available as an option in several cars. The advanced key allows the driver to keep the car key in his pocket when unlocking and starting the automobile. The key is identified via a proximity sensor in the car door and a radio pulse generator in the key housing as soon as the driver is within approximately 1.5 metres of the vehicle. The vehicle is automatically unlocked as soon as the door handle (or trunk lid) is actuated.

My interior doors won’t shut tightly. How do I fix this problem?

I have a few doors inside my house that will not shut tightly. It’s as though the latch in the door handle can’t catch in the door frame. Rather than get frustrated and yell, I figured some experienced home contractor could help me out.

Thanks!

Why would power door locks NOT unlock from the inside?

I was test driving a 2006 Ford Taurus overnight. The morning I had decided to buy it, I made a stop at mail box, put the car in park, but the doors would not open. I pulled on the latch, turned off the car, kept pulling on the door handle which had normally unlocked before, kept pushing the lock/unlock button, but nothing. I was stuck inside the car for at least 5 minutes before it magically unlocked. It did the same thing a few minutes later when I made another stop. After that, I stopped the car in a parking lot and tried it over and over again and it worked just fine. I decided NOT to buy the car but no one seems to have heard of this problem. Any ideas?
