We bought an English Bulldog puppy in January of 2007 at a little over a month old. He had a few accidents as a puppy but I was really trying to crate him and keep a schedule for bathroom breaks. Admittedly, my Dad has always been a little old school when it comes to pets, so when the accidents became more regular at an older age, Lennon (our Bulldog) would be yelled at for it and (rarely) ******* (I know that this is never the way to handle this so I try and keep my Dad from doing it). It’s really become a problem because my Mother passed away and now there’s no one at home during the late afternoon when my Dad and I are both working. We’ve begun restricting his diet to two big meals a day and one smaller one in the middle of the day. I have tried to make sure and walk out to the yard with him when I can and visually see him ****. As far as accidents, there are two problem areas in the house. The computer room and the living room. We have put security locks on both swinging doors to the living room and have tried to keep the computer room door closed. But it seems like every time the computer door accidentally gets left open, he will immediately sneak in and **** on the floor and then run out. We almost never catch him doing it. His poops outside are typically 1-2 times a day and we let him out many, many times more (without walking out with him).
I’m very afraid that he has become scared of pooping in front of us in general and, because of this, has resorted to sneaking into places he knows we aren’t usually located when we are home. I’m really hoping whatever he is currently mentally trained to do is reversible to a degree so that we can begin enjoying him as a pet completely. I am very much against the idea of getting rid of him because I am very much for the idea that we caused the problem somehow. I hope we can get some help for this. Thank you.

k. well my bro is VERY aggarvating. I got grounded b/c he screamed bloody murder and told my parents that i punched him. Then i told him that i was gona vacume and mop the floors and for him to play outside. he agreed. then i locked the doors b/c i knew he would 4get and come in. so when he got inside he called my mom and told her then i got introuble for “taking the situation the wrong way” how sick is that? so what is one way that i can put up with him with out killing him.. its too messy and my parents would notice he’s gone… sigh.. jk. but seriously any ideas b/c i’m loosing it

My 18 month GS has figured out how to open closed doors such as bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. I’ve noticed teeth prints on the door knobs but he won’t open doors while anyone is watching. He goes in kitchen and tears up garbage cans or climbs on table to bark out window. He enters my daughter’s room and steals her stuffed animals and barbie dolls. He doesn’t destroy them he just brings them back to his bed and keeps them until she comes looking for the. Once she does, the game of chase starts. He goes in bathroom and stands in tub. In there he steals the soap or body puffs. How can I prevent him from opening doors and if you know how can we eliminate the “Chase” game?
thanks in Advance
We have tried crating but he can get out of that too.
He aslo likes the taste of the bitter apple spray. This dog is an odd one!
He also does it when we are here. In fact he just brought Barbie and laid her at my feet, then went and took a nap
I like that hook/eye idea. I’ll mention it to my husband when he comes in from work. Thanks! I knew someone here would help. You all did great!

I want to replace my old, skeleton key bedroom door lock with a lock that it built into the knob. The only problem is the “latch” part of the new lock is too small to fit in the space where the existing latch is. Here are some photos to give you a better idea of what I mean :
The existing lock parts are similar to this

New lock parts are similar to this:

I have seen this before, someone folds up a bill into a small rectangle and it is VERY hard to unfold. Does anyone know how to do this?

Does anyone know of what procedure I can take besides calling there airport security claims department?
Last weekend I parked at Avistar parking lot for 4 days. When I came back to JFK from Phoenix my GPS system was stolen. My car was not damaged so an employee must of took the key, opened up my car and stole it, then locked the car back up (how nice of them). Any advice would help.
Thanks
